SAMUELSTAFFING.COM is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician (FT) Near Lutz, FL
- Under pharmacist supervision and direction, compound non-sterile dosage forms including tablets, creams, solutions, ointments, capsules, etc.
- Follow all applicable standard operating procedures required in the compounding processes, including use of equipment (i.e., analytical balances, ointment mills, LMX mixers), documenting requirements, and safety procedures.
- Ensure compounds are prepared in accordance to master formulation instructions and that all relevant compounding guidelines and quality standards are maintained
- Accurately weigh measure, and mix ingredients during the compounding process per master formulation instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Report out-of-specification observations, deviations, and modifications immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Take part in relevant training and education.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Registered pharmacy technician with the Florida Department of Health
- Certified pharmacy technician (CPhT)
- 1 year experience in non-sterile compounding
