- Respond to emergency calls for medical assistance and transport patients to medical facilities
- Assess the patient's condition and provide necessary medical treatment in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications and perform advanced medical procedures as needed
- Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals to coordinate patient care and provide necessary updates
- Maintain accurate patient care records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs to maintain current knowledge of medical practices, procedures, and equipment
- Maintain and clean equipment and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Illinois State Paramedic licensure
- Current CPR and ACLS certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
