Our company specializes in high-end residential and light commercial construction and is a drug free workplace. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years in the residential construction industry.

-Experience in light commercial construction is valuable.

-Proficient in plan review and knowledgeable in Florida Building Code requirements.

-Experience should include all stages of construction from preliminary lot layout to final punch/closeout.

-Education beyond high school is valuable.

-Minimum 10-hour OSHA certification is required.

-First Aid certification is required.

-Strong leadership qualities, negotiation skills and detail-oriented individuals will be considered.

-Experience with local municipalities is valuable.

-Must work well in a fast paced, highly motivated, team setting. Job Description/Responsibilities:

-Coordination of early site development requirements (including mobilization, site/lot layout, establishment of vertical and horizontal controls, temporary utility requirements, and coordination of underground utility locates).

-Upon receipt of permit documents, review for building department requirements.

-Review all contract documents including subcontractor scopes and schedule. --Overall daily management and coordination of subcontractors (including pre-construction, progress meetings, appropriate schedule forecasting and management thereof).

-Coordination of in-house carpenters and laborers.

-Provide timely take-offs for materials and provide coordination for all jobsite materials and equipment.

-Create shop drawings and sketches as required (note: does not include structural solutions); will be responsible for reviewing and approving subcontractor shop drawings.

-Provide written punch list to subcontractors after each phase of work to ensure the integrity and quality of materials, installation methods and procedures.

-Coordination and oversight of all inspections (including scheduling, ensuring proper paperwork is onsite for inspectors review, and participation in the inspections).

-Enforce Samuel Construction’s quality control standards.

-Responsible for creating and coordination of project punch lists.

-Ensure a safe working environment; advocate and follow OSHA regulations. ---Ensure properties are opened in the morning and properly secured at the end of each day.

-Maintain daily project logs; fully documenting all delays (weather, owner related, subcontractor and additional time spent on change orders).

-Coordinate daily jobsite clean-up activities (in house and with subcontractors). -Responsible for invoice and timesheet review and approval. Computer Program Experience:

-Must be proficient in general computer experience and be able to navigate computer files/network.

-Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook (emails, calendar, and contacts), Microsoft Word, and Excel
