Position Summary
Responsible for the over-all systems reliability, and performance in field testing.
Role and Responsibilities
Duties: Responsible for the over-all systems reliability, and performance in field testing. Collaborate with other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software products. Analyze test data and report to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications. Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design. Diagnose Protocol and System level issues from the carriers, screen through and debug issues reported from carrier. Perform log analysis to oversee Internet of Things (IOT) and field test. Coordinate with R&D to implement new standards and specification related changes and carrier specific requirements. Understand and analyze customer applications, test cases, and requirements. Create, evaluate, and develop implementation concepts and approaches to meet customer requirements. Identify the required documentation and process for the project. Assist in creation of design requirements. Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications. Propose new ideas and enhancements to SEA field operations and communicate with headquarters for various related features and issues.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation in the telecommunications engineering in the mobile industry. The five (5) years of experience must have included 5 years of experience with:
Utilizing device testing tools, including QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Shannon DM, Mobile Analyzer, Odin, Mobile Datum, and PC Datum; Python scripts; Experience with 3GPP, GSMA, IMS, SIP, and TCP/IP; and Testing and evaluating new wireless products in GSM, UMTS, LTE, and/or 5G network.
Travel Requirements : up to 30% domestic travel required
Salary: $180,440.00/year
