Job Details

Position Summary
The Mobile (MX) Gaming team lives within the mobile services product organization and is responsible for driving key business results for Samsung's mobile gaming services within the Galaxy Mobile device ecosystem in the United States. We are looking for a Manager-level professional for our MX Gaming team. In this role, you will develop and execute the day-to-day and long-term user activation, engagement and monetization strategies through data-driven live operations, events, promotions, content marketing and merchandising for Gaming Hub and our new mobile cloud gaming initiative. We are looking for candidates who are analytical, goal-oriented, out-the-box thinkers, excellent communicators and adept at solving complex problems.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement live operations strategies that align with business objectives and KPIs with the goal of enhancing user engagement, retention and monetization sustainably for our MX Gaming services.
  • Plan and execute promotions, events and content updates to provide a dynamic and engaging user experience.
  • Effectively communicate your ideas to the team, incorporate their feedback, and lead the execution of agreed-upon plans.
  • Work closely with various teams, including product, marketing, data analytics, engineering and partnerships, to realize your strategies. Will also require frequent coordination and communication with stakeholders and counterparts in Korea (HQ).
  • Analyze user data and metrics to identify live ops campaign performance, trends, user preferences and opportunities for enhancing the service's performance and revenue generation.
  • Manage the roadmap of features and tools essential for enhancing and innovating the live operations of our Gaming Hub service, collaborating with relevant stakeholders, including product managers, to ensure their timely development.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in mobile gaming, player preferences and market developments
  • Regularly review and adjust strategies based on performance data and gaming industry trends
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5 years of work experience, preferably with relevant experience in marketing and data analytics
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. Master's degree / MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to leverage user data to drive decision-making and optimize live operations strategies.
  • Hands-on approach and impact-driven focus on pushing service performance and delivering a fantastic user experience.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks, learning and sharing the lessons learned.
  • Proactive and passionate personality with a team-first attitude.
  • Fluency in the Korean language, written and spoken, is a plus.
