Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview: We are looking for a multilingual (English & Korean), experienced translator to translate text as well as conversations.

Specific Job Duties:The translator will be responsible for the accurate translation of Samsung HQ documents and emails as well as attending meetings in which live translations are needed. Must be eager to learn to have a firm understanding of the semiconductor industry.
Shift:1st-Shift: M-F, 8am to 5 pm

Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required:

4 years of college or equivalent.
Minimum 2 ~ 3 years of related experiences preferred.
Must be fluent in English & Korean.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:

Proven work experience as a translator, interpreter or similar role; fluency in both English & Korean; excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors; time management skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to work to deadlines; ability to grasp new concepts quickly (ex. Technical terms); ability to build good relationships with colleagues and end users.
