About the role:

We are looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to accelerate the growth and impact of our Public Sector Partnerships.

At Samsara, the Partner Marketing team is responsible for marketing to and through our channel of global partners. This is a fast-growing area of the business that plays a strategic role in our future success. The partnerships team is dedicated to building relationships and programs that benefit both our partners and our mutual end customers, while driving sales and adoption of Samsara technology. As a partner marketing team, we work closely with partner sales, partner programs, and the broader marketing team.

In this role, we are looking for a candidate to support our Public Sector partnerships, a high priority and quickly growing segment of the business. We are in the earlier stages of developing these partnerships that offer a unique value to our Public Sector customers.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.

  • Help establish new partner marketing motions from the ground up to support high visibility partnerships, while also developing and iterating on existing marketing programs for this audience, in alignment with our partnerships team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives such as partner comms, launch campaigns, enablement, and content creation
  • Develop insights based on partner data, measure the effectiveness of partner marketing efforts, and define key performance indicators aligned with the business and partnership objectives
  • Establish partner marketing programs that will scale with the business’ growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion
  • Act as a Samsara marketing subject matter expert for our partners by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge, and taking a balanced consultative and systematic approach to achieve measurable results through joint marketing efforts
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 3 years of relevant experience in partner marketing, product marketing, project or program management, partnerships

  • Ability to synthesize and distill complex information into clear, concise messaging for different audiences
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies and/or fast-paced startups - you’re happiest operating without a set playbook
  • Strong cross-functional leader - you have on-the-job experience managing and communicating complex projects with many stakeholders
  • You’re detail-oriented, yet can think big picture; analytical, yet creative; and a self-starter who is not afraid to execute and get in the weeds
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience in B2B marketing and working directly with partners in past roles
  • Public Sector industry expertise a plus
  • High sense of urgency and committed work ethic to drive business outcomes
  • Analytical chops to understand data and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs
