Overview:

We are seeking a RELIABLE and COMPASSIONATE individual to join our family, at Samaritans At Last. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support with daily activities and personal care. Looking for someone with a flexible schedule, that will be available for fill in shifts in multiple areas not just Philadelphia. Vehicle is not a Must but highly recommended. Caregiver MUST be able to travel to multiple locations if needed.

Schedule:

-Floater (fills shifts as needed)

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Provide medication reminders if needed

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Help clients with mobility issues and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary

- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs

- Support individuals with dementia care or other illnesses

- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

- Prior experience in caregiving or related fields preferred

- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate empathy

- Proficiency in assisting with ADLs

- Capability to handle physical demands including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility

- Familiarity with social work systems and protocols for providing quality care
