Physician- Home Visits

A compassionate job-seeker is needed for the Physician opportunity with our company! As a Home Visit Physician, you will be responsible for providing primary medical care to patients in their homes and facilities. This full-time opportunity offers $220k- $255k annually based on experience!

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide primary medical care to Home Visit Physician (HVP) patients.
  • Collaborate with other clinical staff in the HVP practice to ensure quality patient care.
  • Provide appropriate communication and coordination with any of the patient's specialists on an as needed basis.
  • Maintain open communication with office staff related to scheduling and other patient care needs.
  • Complete documentation in EMR in timely manner.
  • Support and participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives in the practice.
  • Understand and comply with regulations and standards particular to state, federal entities as well as payer rules/regulations.
  • Review and provide input on clinical policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a liaison between Samaritan Home Visit Physicians and the medical community.
  • Conduct community presentations as needed.
  • Support and collaborate on growth initiatives for the practice.
  • Receive and resolve patient complaints in collaboration with Director and Practice Manager.
  • Participate in call activities on a rotating basis.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services and workshops.
  • Attend staff meetings on a regular basis.
  • Accept and perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team:

  • Minimum of 4 years related experience
  • D. or D.O. required
  • Current license to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey
  • Board certification in hospice and palliative care or eligibility for certification
  • Bilingual is a plus!
