Nurse Manager- Inpatient Unit (Mt. Holly)

A diligent job-seeker is needed for the Nurse Manager opportunity with our company in our inpatient unit in Mt. Holly, NJ! As the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the hospice care delivered by the inpatient staff and has 24-hour accountability for unit operations. This full-time opportunity offers $80k- $103k annually based on experience!

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for the provision of quality patient care by Samaritan’s clinical staff in adherence with all applicable policies and regulations
• Facilitates interdisciplinary team meetings and fosters interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration
• Supervises staff and is responsible for hiring, training, coaching and evaluation
• Oversees scheduling of all inpatient staff to insure the provision of quality care and compliance with all regulations
• Ensures that patient care is delivered within cost-effective parameters, allocating resources appropriately and managing staff resources in relation to census trends
• Facilitates development of inpatient policies and procedures in collaboration with Director of Hospice and other management staff
• Reviews patient documentation regularly to ensure quality, timeliness and compliance with all requirements
• Participates in performance improvement activities by identifying operational and clinical issues, designing strategies for resolution, implementing changes and evaluating results, in collaboration with other managers and quality/compliance staff
• Assists in development of education plan for staff in collaboration with quality/compliance staff
• Shares on call responsibilities with other nurse managers, on a rotating basis, to insure 24-hour hour oversight of hospice care
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring to Our Team:

• Minimum of 3 years in similar position
• Current license as an RN in the state of NJ; CRNH and/or OCN desirable
• BSN required; MSN or MS preferred
• Bilingual is a plus!
