Home Health Aide (Full Time)

A compassionate job-seeker is needed for the Home Health Aide opportunity with our company! As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, expert care of your assigned hospice patients. This full-time opportunity offers $18-$20 per hour based on experience!

What You’ll Do:

  • Caring for hospice patients in private homes and/or healthcare facilities
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, assistance with meals, ambulation, re-positioning, etc.
  • Implementing plan of care under the directive of a registered nurse
  • Performing light housekeeping in patient area only, when needed.
  • Documenting patient care in electronic software.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities as assigned
  • Represent Samaritan in a positive manner to the patients, families and entire community
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team:

  • Valid NJ CHHA certification
  • Driver’s License and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual is a plus!
