Reports to: Recovery Support Staff Coordinator
Qualifications: Two years undergraduate credit in psychology, social work, or related field, or minimum of
High School Diploma or equivalency and two years related work with supervisory experience; knowledge of 12-Step recovery philosophy; ability and willingness to interact in an effective manner with chemically dependent adults and/or adults with co-occurring disorders; a Commercial Driver License (CDL)preferred, First Aid and CPR Certifications required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Recovery Technicians
Shifts Required: This is a 3rd Shift Supervisory Position. The hours are 12:00am - 8:00am Wednesday - Sunday.
Job Summary: Direct supervision of Recovery Technicians to include assisting in the hiring process, shift scheduling, training, employee performance evaluations; monitoring and documenting client behavior; providing transportation to 12 Step meetings and community outings.
Duties:Meet 1:1 with Recovery Support Staff Coordinator at least once per week.
Train all new hires to your assigned shift.
Ensure that all shifts are covered, at all times (especially call-outs).
Maintain current CPR/First Aid and Narcan Certifications.
Complete Personnel Actions (write-ups) for staff on your assigned shift when needed.
On a rotating basis, conduct Mandatory Monthly meetings with the other Lead RTs and the Recovery Support Staff Coordinator.
Conduct/assist with monthly emergency drills and document accordingly.
Participate in training, and professional development in accordance with agency goals and mission.
Monitor and document client behavior.
Intervene and take appropriate action (non-physical intervention) as outlined by agency policy and procedures for emergency situations.
Act as helpful listener to clients in absence of other clinical staff and notify on-call personnel when significant or immediate clinical intervention is needed.
Conduct urine screens and alcohol breath tests as directed or indicated.
Coordinate and schedule in-house meetings for clients and maintain current contact information for people or groups who bring meetings to the agency.
Facillitate transportation to off-site meetings and community activities.
Screen and monitor all visitors to the agency.
Document needed facility repairs and health & safety issues whether reported or observed.
Check rooms and details at designated times.
Make status rounds every hour and document same.
Turn all outside lights on at nightfall and off at daybreak on all buildings.
Conduct or assist in room searches as directed
Perform other related duties as required.
