Job Summary:
As a Lot Technician at Salt Lake Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the dealership's lot and inventory. This includes preparing new and used vehicles for display and sale, ensuring proper placement and arrangement of vehicles, and performing basic maintenance tasks. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and offers competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect and prepare new and used vehicles for display and sale on the lot
- Ensure that all vehicles are parked in designated areas and properly arranged for easy access
- Maintain the appearance of the lot by removing debris, cleaning vehicles, and organizing inventory
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels, replacing light bulbs, and installing license plates
- Assist with vehicle transfers between dealership locations
- Monitor and track inventory levels
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that vehicles are available for test drives and deliveries
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in the automotive industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and care
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and moving vehicles
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
