Job Summary
This position will assist the School of Arts, Communication & Media (SACM) Program Manager with organizing, promoting, and managing School and campus events, programs, marketing, and outreach.
Responsibilities include overseeing program logistics, scheduling and arranging requested services, managing equipment, oversight of program record-keeping and correspondence, and event setup.
Position will coordinate with SLCC Institutional Marketing office to assist with marketing efforts, including submitting marketing requests, creating regular event email announcements, overseeing SACM submissions for SLCC and community event calendars, and other promotional efforts.
Position may require occasional coverage for SACM front office, with responsibilities including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, directing walk-in traffic and assisting with student / visitor questions.
Occasional early morning or later evening hours. Other duties as assigned. Basic accounting skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
