Accounting and Business School students in Springfield, we want to hear from you! This is a part time, paid opportunity with the ideal of 30-40 hours weekly. This multifaceted position will involve exposure to a variety of areas within our team ranging from accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, sales and use tax as well as other opportunities and special projects as they arise. Under the supervision of our team, this position can expect to gain firsthand experience in a fast-paced growing environment with multi-location, multi-state exposure.

To be a strong candidate for this position you should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking and possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, receptive to feedback, able to observe and provide feedback, eager to learn and trustworthy.

Your role:

• Assist with research, filing, data entry and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
• Work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information and support the company and our customers
• Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
• Assist with various projects and taking on additional tasks

Who you are:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in a business related major
• Remain in good academic standing throughout the internship
• Proficient with computers and software programs; MS office and strong excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of efficiency, attention to detail and accuracy
• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• A sincere customer service attitude
• A great work ethic & attitude
• Strong sense of urgency & true commitment to customers
• Ability to work at least 30 hours per week
