Salina Regional Health Center is Hiring a NONINVASIVE CATH LAB TEAM LEAD Near Salina, KS

POSITION SUMMARY
- Position Summary:
  - Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician, along with: TEE, EEG, EKG's, Stress Tests, EECP, ICG and ambulatory monitoring. The technologist effectively operates ultrasound equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings. The echo technologist lead explains procedures and answers questions for the patient and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The echo technologist lead adjusts equipment controls to set proper protocol based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines. Works with Director of Surgical Services to oversee Non-invasive department (NICL) lab staff. Coordinates staff schedule, training and approves staff timesheets.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
  - Successful completion of Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) program through accredited institution.
- Minimum Experience
  - 2 years previous experience in Echocardiography technology preferred
- Required Registration/License/Certification
  - RDCS through ARDMS or CCI
  - CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Healthcare Provider] to be obtained within 90 days of employment)
