Salina Family YMCA is Hiring a Manager on Duty-part time Near Salina, KS
Open shifts are for Saturday and Sundays only.
Open shifts are: Saturdays 6:30am-1pm or 1pm-5:15pm, Sundays 9:30am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-5:15pm
Ideal candidate(s) would be able to work a shift on Saturday and Sunday.
Rate of pay $10.00/hr with FREE YMCA membership! Would you like more hours? Opportunities to cross train and work in additional departments is available.
The Manager on Duty (MOD) is responsible for the overall safety of members and facilities including customer service, conflict management, providing facility tours and being the eyes and ears for the directors when they are not on duty. This person must have a positive attitude, be able to build relationships with people in a friendly and consistent manner and support and portray the YMCA Core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all participants, maintaining a clean and safe facility and demonstrating professional conduct at all times.
- Enforce all YMCA policies in a professional and courteous manner.
- MOD’s are the first in and last out of the facility and must be accessible at all times when on duty.
- Properly fill out incident/behavior reports for any accidents, thefts, or any other incident that occurs on YMCA property.
- React quickly and calmly in emergencies and know emergency procedures.
- Resolve conflicts when they arise.
- Continually move throughout the building to monitor all programs, classes and areas of the facility and ensure all rules/policies are adhered to.
