Essential Duties:

• Greet patients entering the practice.
• Answer telephone, provides information, and follow up in a timely manner to all messages.
• Oversee patient care by monitoring the schedule regularly and adjusting patient appointments to maximize patient care and reach practice goals.
• Scheduling patients
• Establish and keeps patient files up to date.
• Verify patient insurance information and document basic insurance information in the patient’s chart.
• Educate patients regarding their insurance and financial responsibility.
• Assist with billing & payment processing.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Is capable to multitask, typing & speaking while on the phone with patients.
• Dental office experience preferred.
• Dentrix experience a plus.
• Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff, and patients.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
