About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI Data CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

The Role

We're hiring a UX Designer to help us transform the experience of our websites, including Salesforce.com and Mulesoft.com.

You will use design systems to craft accessible user flows and page patterns that help our users be successful with their jobs-to-be-done. You'll integrate user research into the process to ensure quality and excellence. You'll use your solid understanding of design tools to bring experiences to life through prototypes and concepts, which will drive alignment with peers and executive leadership. You'll develop cross-functional relationships with brand, marketing, authoring, accessibility, and engineering, encouraging collaboration and leading to high quality solutions.

You'll join a team with a diverse set of UX skills and subject areas. We have an experimentation mentality, so you'll have the opportunity to respond proactively to challenges, try new things, and iterate based on data. Bring your skills, inspire your team, and create amazing experiences as you help us transform the way business gets done.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with product marketing managers and other partners to understand their goals and facilitate the user-centered design process to reach them.
  • Communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key partners, using presentations, reviews, and documentation.
  • Generate detailed experience design guidelines and documentation.
  • Serve as a bridge connecting UX, design, copy, experimentation, research, and authoring.
  • Promote and educate others on new interface guidelines and design patterns.
  • Promote a self service operating model by supporting the documentation of our design system.
  • Get feedback on designs via critique with peers.
  • Create ethical and inclusive designs for all users. Encourage product and engineering management to prioritize inclusive features and bug fixes
Experience/Skills Required
  • 3-5 years of experience designing and delivering websites for large organizations from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design and systems thinking. The ability to step back and see a project's larger ecosystem, with a focus on solutions that improve not just one feature but the entire user flow.
  • Storytelling and prototyping skills to present your solutions to key partners and leadership
  • Communication and active listening skills, with an ability to build and develop close, trusting relationships
  • Internal compass that points toward ethics and equality, and the conviction to speak up when we veer off course
  • Experience using analytics and user research to drive decisions
  • Experience using, and contributing to, design systems
  • Experience developing web experiences that are global in reach, universal in design, and designed for users of multiple languages and abilities
  • Solid knowledge of current design tools such as Figma, along with an ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in a design-related field, or equivalent experience
