As a Senior Manager, Skills Programs, you will drive the creation and execution of a comprehensive skills program that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and future needs. This role involves close collaboration with various teams and collaborators to embed skills as a fundamental element of career growth and development opportunities within the organization. You will be instrumental in shaping the talent architecture, ensuring that it provides clear career pathways by mapping skills to job roles and learning opportunities. Your expertise in skills, leadership, and global talent management will guide the integration of these initiatives into wider company programs, while your project management capabilities will ensure alignment, communication, and effective delivery of key projects!

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive enterprise-wide skills program inclusive of establishing leadership behaviors, with a focus on integrating skills across talent management programs to meet current and future business needs.
  • Support the design, development, implementation, and integration of talent programs across the talent lifecycle in alignment with business needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key partners to leverage skills as the currency that drives career growth and opportunities for development.
  • Support the design and delivery of a skills architecture, with a focus on mapping relevant skills to a job architecture aimed at providing employees with clear career and learning pathways.
  • Partner with key team members to provide thought leadership for integrating skills development initiatives into broader talent management, learning and development, and other relevant programs and processes.
  • Foster collaboration with partners and across teams including career growth, workforce planning, and learning and development to align efforts, communicate progress, and deliver key initiatives effectively.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on skills and global talent management programs, providing clarity on the program direction, design, change management, and implementation. Support broader talent management initiatives across the team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and standard processes in skills-based organizations, skills technologies, and talent management practices.
  • Track and analyze skills across the enterprise, gathering key data insights and feedback from partners and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Use project management practices to ensure successful delivery of programs within timelines and budget.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Leadership/Organization Development (OD), Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of progressive HR/Leadership/TM/OD/OE experience within large organizations or equally complex environments
  • Knowledge of skills, leadership, and talent management standard processes is preferred
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Strong program management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent operational/analytical skills. Experience using data to measure the success of existing initiatives and provide actionable insights to inform areas of opportunity
  • Track record of driving positive organizational change in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, influencing, and partner management skills
  • Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $136,600 to $187,900.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,300 to $206,700.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
