Salesforce is seeking a highly motivated Platform/post-production manager who is passionate about Salesforce's broadcast and on-demand audience experiences. Embracing best practices from television-music-entertainment, the Integrated Experiences team creates live and impactful global events & broadcasts that engage both streaming and on-demand audiences, unleashing the power of Salesforce anywhere. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a producer's mindset: a commitment to storytelling, a background in video production, creative thinking with a strong point of view, a collaborative approach, speed and composure under deadline, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to juggle key stakeholder considerations. Salesforce is an innovative, fast-moving company; the Integrated Experiences Team is no different.
You will help produce Salesforce digital event experiences that engage audiences across their journey with Salesforce. In this role, you will help create a robust user experience and help manage the creative process from pre-planning to post-production.
You will be at the forefront of Salesforce's broadcast evolution.
Responsibilities:

  • Support creation and production of user experience on Salesforce for live broadcast and on-demand experiences
  • Be a driving force behind the success and growth of live broadcasts and VOD on Salesforce
  • Monitor live broadcast stream and manage escalation communication to leadership
  • Support post-event, multi-platform on-demand strategy.
  • Build video hosting records, upload to platforms, publish, and manage On Demand content
  • Support audience engagement efforts including chat functionality in lead up to live events on Salesforce
  • Partner with 3rd party platform teams to share and promote event content
  • Edit videos, images, and design motion graphics as needed
  • Oversee media management process including organization of files, folder structure, delivery of assets and uploads to archive
  • Oversee input and management of metadata in Media Asset Management system
  • Work closely with our cross-functional partners to weave the right mix of television best practices with the Salesforce brand
  • Be experimental with content, take risks with what you're creating, be ambitious and original
  • Attend daily meetings to update team on progress/status/issues/troubleshooting

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in broadcast or corporate video production and post production
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop
  • Understanding of basic video engineering, video codecs and formats, post production hardware, and media transmission protocols
  • Understanding and experience with live stream work flow, streaming protocols and video hosting platforms
  • Adept at solving complex production challenges in a self sufficient manner
  • Ability to contribute to the team beyond basic production requirements in the areas of process, education, operations
  • Is a collaborator, and no job is too small

Preferred qualifications:What would be helpful to have to be considered?

  • Experience across content creation process: producing, editing, and directing
  • Understanding of common video production tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Live streaming platforms, Camera and Audio equipment
  • Experience working with or for a technology company
