About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI Data CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

The Team

Brand Technology - a part of the Marketing organization at Salesforce - delivers a robust and innovative technology stack that enhances in-person, digital, and on-demand experiences for our marketing events and conferences around the world. We provide industry-leading platforms and personalized solutions that connect our target audiences to the content and experiences they need, when they need it, where they need it.

These solutions help to funnel users, attendees, and customers/prospects into deeper relationships with Salesforce - whether deeper into the events ecosystem or into the plethora of Salesforce value propositions: Trailhead, AppExchange, or the product buying journey. Our vast portfolio ranges from the Salesforce events mobile app and Salesforce to generative AI-powered personalization solutions and platforms that accelerate hands-on learning and networking.

The Role

We're in need of an administrator for our event technology stack, most significantly centered around RainFocus and the Salesforce Events mobile app. As steward of these systems, you'll have a front row seat to see how Brand Technology runs some of the best events in the world, getting an insider's view into why Salesforce events are the industry benchmark for experiential marketing.

This year, we're preparing to further scale the use of our event technology stack. The Brand Technology Systems Administrator will focus on maturing and scaling:

Access: Appropriate users can access what they need.

Integrations: Data is received and/or sent via integrations in a predictable way, especially between RainFocus and the Salesforce Events mobile app.

Changes: During moratoriums or after event testing, no changes are made without approval by exception.

Compliance: Maintained with enterprise security policies and others such as GDPR.

Reporting: The health of systems and administration operations is represented based on metrics & data.

Team Enablement: The Brand Technology team is enabled on how to use the systems and is prepared for changes before they occur.

Change Enablement: Stakeholders are guided through process and technology changes without negative impact to their productivity and success.

Innovation: our Brand Technology product team and partners collaborate with you to experiment on new technology-fueled innovations that wow our audiences.

About You

You:

  • Have a blend of technical and business skills to work with current collaborators and win over the trust of new partners.
  • Enjoy experimenting, yet know when to be risk averse to protect the integrity, availability, and trust of critical systems.
  • Know that documentation is necessary, but also aren't afraid to have fun with it...you know, so that someone might actually read it.
  • See the big picture of what's happening while also seeing around corners (you can predict what's coming or where problems may arise, and be ready for it).
  • Are highly functional in an active, frequently shifting, and energizing environment!
  • Build relationships to make things happen!
  • Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
  • Are curious, aren't afraid to ask questions, receive feedback, and are continually thinking about how to improve things.

Minimum Requirements

  • 6 years experience in working with event-related technology systems with at least 2 years of RainFocus experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc).

Preferred Requirements

  • RainFocus certified
  • Experience working with:
  • --The Eventbase mobile events app.
  • --Salesforce technologies, such as the Salesforce Einstein 1 platform.
  • --Marketing teams or have been part of a marketing organization.
