Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager
Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed reports on findings from inspections, audits, and investigations
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving workplace safety and reducing environmental impact
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Provide guidance and support to employees on environmental health and safety matters
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety Management or a related field
- Must have experience within a manufacturing facility (food, metals, plastics, etc...)
- Certified in OSHA 30, Forklift training, CPR, first Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and standards
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- 3-5 years safety experience in an manufacturing setting
