Are you passionate about swimming and dedicated to ensuring water safety? Join our team as a Swim Instructor and make a splash in the lives of our students! Here's what you'll be doing:
Teaching swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety skills to students of all levels Assisting experienced swimmers to refine their abilities Assessing student progress and adjusting programs accordingly Ensuring a safe environment by monitoring students and preventing accidents Implementing ground rules for each swim session Planning lessons tailored to individual abilities and development Correcting incorrect techniques with expertise and care Maintaining cleanliness in pool and facility areas
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Minimum age of 18 Experience in education, swim instruction, or lifeguarding CPR and First Aid certifications (within 30 days) SwimAmerica, WSI, USSSA, or equivalent certification (within 90 days) Strong knowledge of water safety rules Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills Passionate and enthusiastic with a growth mindset
Pay Range: Starting at $17 per hour with a percentage increase based on certifications (to be discussed in the interview).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 7 PM
