This role involves instructing both levels of Health Science Technology 1 and 2, focusing on teaching anatomy and physiology, health care careers, medical terminology, and basic nursing skills to students pursuing certification as nursing assistants. Job changers with a passion for teaching and training the next generation of helathcare providers are encouraged to inquire. Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and healthcare.- Provide hands-on instruction in nursing assistant skills (if applicable).- Foster a dynamic learning environment that inspires student interest and participation.- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies.- Support students in achieving their academic and career goals. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required.- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the nursing field.- Ability to qualify for site-based certification in the State of NH. Teacher certification is not mandatory but can be obtained through a site-based learning plan.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Enthusiasm for teaching and motivating students.
