Your Role With Us:

As a key contributor in our dynamic healthcare environment, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of surgeries and procedures as directed by our esteemed physicians, in accordance with established hospital policies. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including coordinating with various departments, maintaining effective communication, and educating patients on their surgery preparations and insurance matters. You'll work closely with the medical team to uphold scheduling metrics and facilitate seamless patient care.

Your duties and responsibilities will include coordinating with hospital schedulers and other specialties, obtaining pre-authorizations, educating patients on procedures, and maintaining accurate provider schedules. You'll also participate in committees and be a vital part of our team, providing support, training, and assistance where needed. With a strong focus on HIPAA compliance, you'll contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Background/Expertise:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of medical office experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of EMR experience required
  • A thorough understanding of insurances which includes medical policies and authorization process preferred
