We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Catering Operations Coordinator to join our catering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving sales, and ensuring the smooth execution of events. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the food and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take incoming catering calls and fill out catering orders. Walk the customer through the process of determining menu, quantities, venue, and rentals needed via phone, online email, and in person. Create menus according to each client’s preferences and dietary needs or restrictions.

• Timely communication with clients throughout the sales process, addressing any issues or last-minute changes promptly and professionally.
• Work in tandem with the kitchen leadership and staff to oversee food production, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Follow up with catering clients and participate in community marketing.

· Coordinate all logistics, staffing, in-house equipment, rental equipment, pick up Mad Hatter’s Menu items, accordance with the venue rules and regulations.

· Maintain contact with client representatives during catering events. Partner with catering team to ensure a smooth and successful event. Participate in events as appropriate or as directed, especially for large or detailed events.

· Prepare and store food safely before and during events. Event prep, set up, buffet set up, bar service, and supervise break down and clean up.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
