Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring accurate and efficient transactions at the point of sale. Duties:

- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude

- Process customer transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems

- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions

- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns

- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

Qualifications:

- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions

- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred

- Basic math skills for calculating totals and making change

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation is a plus

- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and procedures

- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

- Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
