Summary

Saint Xavier, a Catholic secondary school sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers, has remained faithful to the Xaverian legacy since 1864. We are seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom instruction.
• Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth.
• Conduct academic advising to help students set and achieve their educational goals.
• Engage students in hands-on learning experiences, including research laboratory projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in education administration tasks such as grading assignments and maintaining student records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree w/collegiate Biology; Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching certification or license preferred, or willingness to get.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with academic advising and mentoring students.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools and resources.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
