- Performs regular inspections of the Emergency Generator, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, and other equipment, as needed.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Moves and rearranges furniture in a safe manner, as needed.
- Repairs broken furniture, trim, and other items, as needed.
- Performs plumbing repairs, installation of new pipe, fixtures, and clears blockages, as needed.
- Responsible for proper installation of drywall and drywall finish material.
- Responsible for painting walls, trim, doors, and other items in a clean/neat manner. .
- Responsible for proper installation of new electrical fixtures, wiring, and devices. Can troubleshoot electrical problems and make repairs.
- Discarding and packaging of Bio-hazardous waste – compliant with required training.
- Responsible for proper installation and repair of door locks and hardware, including key management.
- Assists Plant Operations Director in maintaining daily maintenance work log, department productivity and efficiency, and assigns and coordinates the daily workload of department maintenance workers.
