Saint Peter's is the 5th hospital worldwide to earn Magnet status SIX times in a row. Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our team.

The Parent Educator functions as a member of the Expectant Parent Educators team, conducting a minimum of 4 expectant parent program yearly and attending the bi-yearly meetings. Provides accurate, current information to our expectant families utilizing the curriculum provided by Saint Peter’s University Hospital, Parent Education Department.

Requirements:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey and/or has obtained one of the applicable certifications listed below. Specific certification requirements determined by Parenthood Classes taught.
Certified Doula
Spinning Babies Certified Parent Educator
Certified in Childbirth Education
Hypnobirthing Certification
Certified Prenatal Instructor
International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant

Certification thru Spinning Babies required, having completed the Spinning Babies Advanced Program

Instructor will be able to teach a 3- hour in person Spinning Babies class 2 times per month
