Please be advised that due to Department of Health regulations, all applicants for Residential positions will be required to provide documentation of the following vaccinations and tests prior to employment: MMR, Varicella, TDAP, Influenza, Covid, Hepatitis B, and a TB test. Responsibilities and duties for SMHFC Second Shift Residential Counselor:
The Residential Counselor is responsible for being a role model for the children in St. Mary’s care. In addition, the position is in charge of providing for the care, treatment and custody of the children. Second shift residential counselors are responsible for the awake supervision of the children during the hours of 3:00 - 11:00 pm.
· The Residential Counselor is to be awake, alert and responsive throughout the entire shift.
Qualifications for Residential Counselor: Direct care staff must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic program in social work, health, human services or education or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license and background check required.
