Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool and Child Care Assistant Director to assist the Director with overseeing the operations of our child care facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Education required:

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Skills required:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent communication skills (written, interpersonal, and teaching)
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, Pastors, church office manager, and custodian
• Ability to multi-task and keep up with a fast-paced environment
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to be adaptable
• Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure high-quality child care services
• Supervise and help educate staff on best practices in child care
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
• Assist in Overseeing the educational programs and curriculum development
• Assist with Managing the day-to-day operations of the child care center
• Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards
• Maintain positive relationships with: Director, children, parents, staff, Pastors, church office manager, and janitorial staff
• Keep excellent punctuality and attendance
• Maintain confidentiality and tact regarding all issues discussed with families or staff
• Participate in appropriate continued education

Pay: $31,200.00 - $35,360.00 per year
