The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is looking for a Crisis Intervention Specialist who’ll provide crisis intervention, assessment, resources, and immediate support to families calling into our helpline.

Interested candidates will have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work as well as demonstrated skill in providing support via phone to families experiencing Crisis!

For over 36 years, the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery has been partnering with families in crisis, offering wrap-around support so that families remain intact, and children thrive. Our outcomes consistently show that families who engage in services have a reduced risk for child abuse & neglect and greater stability.

Requirements for This Position:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, License preferred.
• Experience working with families in crisis

In addition to the direct care of the children, the Crisis Nursery gives ongoing support and follow-up care to families and serves as a child/family advocate within the social services system.
