JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Community Based Services and the Clinical Supervisor, this position coordinates the overall services provided to clients. Responsibilities include coordination of an overall written program of services; coordination of program staff in relationship to Service Plans for clients and providing direct professional psycho-educational services to clients and their families.
Position focuses upon development of and participation in a team approach with other program staff and community-based support to insure quality services to clients and their families. Performs all work safely, in accordance with the highest professional ethical standards, and in alignment with Saint Joseph’s Villa mission, values, and guiding principles.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Conducts intake interviews, discusses program requirements with clients/ placing agencies and recommends to the Program Manager, Program Director and/or Treatment Clinical Supervisor scope of treatment.
Coordinates all phases of the treatment program within the program(s) for those clients for whom he/she has primary responsibility.
Works independently with minimum field supervision.
Participates in the development and implementation of service plans, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to individual clients and families.
Provides professional services to clients and supports the client in accessing appropriate community activities on a regularly scheduled basis.
Researches community-based organizations and governmental agencies to determine what resources are available to support the client’s needs.
Develops of progress/evaluation reports on clients that meet both St. Joseph's Villa’s and Medicaid’s requirements.
Maintains accurate individual case records for clients under his/her supervision within state licensing and professional accreditation standards.
Reviews and updates all Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), Magellan/CCC , Quarterly reports, and other necessary paperwork in the specified timeframe.
Prepares regular narrative, tabular, and statistical reports for St. Joseph’s Villa management staff, Service Board, and licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
Prepares data for accurate billing for services, complying with the requirements of the varied funding streams.
Uses approved behavior management techniques to work with clients in crisis.
May provide supportive assistance in the areas of activities of daily living, money management and other basic physical needs
May provide direct client care.
May lead clients in recreational, educational, or treatment activities.
Provides clients with supportive assistance as it relates to their independent living skills.
Models appropriate professional behavior and dress.
Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings
Evaluates work processes and methods and submits recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
Attends scheduled training programs for professional development that includes, at a minimum, trainings required by St. Joseph’s Villa and by regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
BA/BS in Hum Services with a minimum of 1 year documented clinical experience. Must be a QMHP – A. Proficient with Windows, Outlook, MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with proprietary software preferred. Valid Virginia driver’s license and excellent driving record preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and skill in professional psycho-educational techniques and awareness of needs of emotionally and socially maladjusted clients. Able to make independent decisions and establish an effective and harmonious working relationship between clients, families and community. Able to utilize community resources. Able to develop close working relationships with the program staff; with St. Joseph's Villa staff, with staff of related agencies and with public officials and other community representatives. Able to appropriately use proprietary software. Knowledge of team building techniques and staff development procedures as they relate to the treatment process. Knowledge of basic first aid procedures. Able to work within a team model of management. Mature judgment and a high degree of professional skill

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
