Saint Joseph's Medical Center, Yonkers NY is seeking a full-time Staff LPN that delivers direct patient care by performing treatment and procedures. Documents health care information in EMR and communicates with providers. Educates patients and families. Works within the team under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Licensed Medical Provider. Experience with vaccine administration to pediatric and adult patient preferred. 1 year experience as an LPN in an ambulatory care setting. Ability to use computer and electronic medical records. Bilingual: English/Spanish required.

• Proven experience as LPN or similar role
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Successful completion of LPN license program is a must

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
