Position Highlights

• Contribute to the development of an interdisciplinary plan of care/resident service plan.
• Facilitate group and individual activities and encourage patient/resident and family involvement in activities based on patient/resident interest, preferences and life story.
• Provide resources and materials to address the special interest of patients/residents for independent engagement;
• Make recommendations regarding recreation equipment/supplies required to meet the needs of the patients/residents and assures that adequate supplies are available.
• Assist in transporting patients/residents to and from Recreation programs.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent. *Must be read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
