Responsibilities

The Burn Technician is a non-licensed healthcare provider who under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Intensive Care Burn Unit or Outpatient Burn Unit performs duties according to established Hospital policies

Qualifications

Two years of acute burn care experience preferred with demonstrated competency in hydrotherapy aseptic technique/dressing changes and splinting/positioning. Basic computer skills. The employee must lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
