Utility Mechanic PRN Days Position Summary

• Repairs brick, stone, and other masonry
• Installs and repairs ceramic tile
• Install new/repair door hardware
• Construct walls with metal studs and set metal door frames
• Repair wooden fixtures and furniture
• Receive shop drawings, assists in building cabinets, desk and shelves
• Install laminate/ Formica on countertops, doors and fixtures
• Repairs or replace floor tile and carpets
• Install and replace rubber wall base
• Install and replace ceiling grids and tiles
• Install and repair sheetrock

Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field

Experience

Preferred: 3 years experience working for a mechanical or general contractor, or an experience in a commercial or hospital service environment.
