Saint Andrew Catholic School is seeking a Pre-K classroom aide starting September 2024. This is a part-time position on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:00 AM-2:45 PM, during the school year on school days. Additional hours may be available. The Pre-K Classroom aide must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and must be willing to meet the requirements of the Diocese of St. Cloud Safe Environment including online training, signing a Code of Conduct and completing a background check. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. The position responsibilities include:

• Help the students complete activities.
• Assist the teacher in evaluating student progress.
• Supervise the students in the classroom, at music and other classes, and outside.
• Make things to be used during class time (cut, set up art projects, etc.)
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the preschool teacher.

The skills needed include:

• Develop rapport with children, parents, and coworkers.
• Follow directions.
• Monitor and supervise small and large groups of children.
• Communicate effectively with others.
