Position Summary & Highlights:
We are seeking a PRN per diem employee who is available for work on an as-needed basis. This flexible schedule gives you the ability to diversify your working experience and skills
What you will do:
Our ideal candidate supports professional staff in the coordination and completion of non-clinical functions. Communicates effectively with team members regarding patient information, messages, and medical documentation. Maintains Electronic Medical Records. Facilitates smooth operation of the unit.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Certification in National Association Hospital Unit Coordinators desirable
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Previous hospital or medical office experience preferred.
