POSITION SUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS: 

We are looking to hire a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Heart and Vascular SDU at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. 

The shift for this position can either be nights or a rotating schedule.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in our growing unit 

  • Work with patients who have spent time in our CVICU and who have stabilized to transition to this unit 

  • Use your expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient centered care to make a significant impact on the lives of patients 

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans 

  • Administer medications and perform necessary procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes 

  • Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness 

  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently 

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth transition 

  • Be part of a tight knit team with strong leadership that offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth 

  • Work in a growing unit and service line with plans to develop in the future 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho 

  • BLS certification at date of hire 

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
