Join our Cardiac Rehab Team at our Boise, Idaho hospital. This position will be PRN, as needed, supporting day shift Mon-Friday, 8am-5pm. No nights, holiday, weekend, or call! Learn more about Cardiac Rehab at Saint Alphonsus HERE.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work with multidisciplinary team to design an individualized care plan for each patient after a cardiovascular event.
• Monitor EKG and provide re-introduction to a healthy regular exercise routine.
• Provide education and rehab support for patients about lifestyle changes, risk factor, blood pressure, and cholesterol education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A current Idaho RN license is required., Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date.

• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)
• ACLS required at 6 months of hire
• Prior cardiac experience preferred.
• As needed this position may also support our Nampa and Ontario cardiac rehab teams.
