Saint Agnes Medical Center is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Tele Near Fresno, CA

Registered Nurses needed! Are you experienced and interested in a new position as a RN? On behalf of Saint Agnes Medical Center and Trinity Health, registered nurses are needed for these full-time positions on Med/Surg Telemetry Unit. Position: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele RN)

Location: Saint Agnes Medical Center, 1303 E Herndon Ave. Fresno, CA 93720

Shift: 12 Hour shifts, self-scheduling

Pay Range: Depends on experience between $44.23 – $64.14 plus benefits

*May be adjusted based on career ladder placement

Position Requirements:

License: CA RN License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS (within 90 days)

Experience: 1 year of related experience

About the Unit

Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, this position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of each assigned patient; supervising, coordinating and guiding the activities with nursing staff members; and implementing the philosophy, goals and standards of care of the unit.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and health care personnel is required.
  • Ability to handle varying issues in the midst of any situation and work effectively individually and as a member of a team within a stress-producing environment is required.
  • Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient’s family and/or significant others.
  • Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
  • Educates the patient, family and/or significant other regarding pain management.
  • Effectively engages patients, families and/or significant others regarding the plan of care, short and long term goals, progression toward goal achievement, including discharge planning.
