SEEKING: Delivery Driver Manager

Come play a pivotal role in the success of a private fleet that prides itself on providing the highest level of service! An independent company, we represent FedEx Ground as last mile delivery carriers in Springfield, Missouri. Managers oversee teams of drivers, providing training, support, scheduling, and coordination of vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Training, managing, scheduling, and supporting Delivery Drivers
• Driving and delivering to cover vacation and sick time for Drivers
• Engineering routes for maximum efficiency
• Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained
• Coordinating and documenting repairs as needed

Preferred skills, knowledge and experience:

• Strong leadership style within supportive team environment
• Ability to encourage, motivate, and hold people accountable
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Commercial driving and package delivery experience
• Logistics experience
• Vehicle Maintenance experience

Starting salary: $45K/yr minimum; up to $53K with experience. Opportunity to advance quickly with excellent performance.

Job Type: Full-time leadership position, in person and on-call.

Must have:

· Excellent driving record: no serious moving violations

· No felonies
