Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a NCCS/Section 847 Business Analyst to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
Supports business processes for delivering software sustainment using Agile and Lean Six Sigma methodologies IAW with customer and DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices. Defines and describes goals, desired work products and the completion criteria to meet the goals, items and alignments needed to perform these processes. Supports development of proofs of concepts, pilots, and/or prototypes. Analyzes and adapts functional business requirements and processes to technical solutions. Ensures dashboards and visualizations deliver effective and timely information IAW PM NISS requirements. Supports translation of IT strategic goals, commitments, and objectives into specifications, actionable plans, tasks, activities, technology, and/or process solutions and possible alternatives, including the estimated costs for the various options, and the potential risks associated with each alternative. Provides business consulting to architectural products and deliverables, as well as system strategies and design infrastructures necessary to support that strategy. Addresses and solves business, information, and technology related opportunities and problems, and ensures consideration of business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment during all phases of systems analysis. Develops business cases, facilitates analysis workshops, and defines and manages the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure satisfaction of requirements. Supports updating of the IOD Project Plan with scope, milestones, schedule, and integration plan to achieve IOC.
