Description

SAIC has a position available for a motivated and experienced individual to work as an Enterprise Architect Principal, assisting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) projects. This Enterprise Architect will provide program support and technical expertise to ensure timely delivery of high-quality DoDAF and critical based Mission Thread analysis products as specified in the SOW.

The Enterprise Architect will closely look at how the different elements of business process, information, and technology will be applied to solve a specific problem, then propose an enterprise architecture- based combination of building blocks that provides the best possible fix. Additionally supports test planning and events with necessities, proposed outcomes and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing, requirements, and measures to ensure the event achieves the end goal. The applicant must be experienced in live, virtual or desk top test events. This process is very detail-oriented and serves as a connecting piece between engineering analysis and process modeling. It also requires a breadth of knowledge in the technical and inner workings of DHS Customs and Border Protection (CBP). After a solution for an existing problem has been designed, the enterprise architect manages the tasks and activities that are involved with its successful implementation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree plus 5 years Experience, or Masters plus 3 years experience.
• Must be responsible, reliable, accountable, and able to work independently and within a team structure.
• Possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines and produce quality results with attention to detail.
• Possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform analysis of aggregate data.
• Ability to track, analyze, and compile data to identify trends, monitor performance, produce recommended solutions and produce appropriate reports.
• Ability to develop concise, organized, well-written reports.
• Must have computer skills and know how to perform tasks utilizing Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and/or MS Access.

Desired Qualifications:

• Has an active FEAF, TOGAF or DoDAF Certification. Experience in operational, capability, system, service architectures and meta-models.
• Highly Desired: CBP Suitability, Previous experience with DHS CBP.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance and CBP Public Trust prior to start date.

Target salary range: $125,001 - $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
