Job Title: Auditor
Location: East Brunswick, New Jersey, United States
Job Responsibilities:
1. Liaise closely with clients across to understand their business needs and develop an understanding of business and finance processes.
2. Plan, complete and design bespoke audit procedures and tests.
3. Attend meetings and interview staff to gather audit evidence such as audit documents and information.
4. Prepare and examine financial statements and documents to make sure that organizations are adhering to tax laws,
5. Analyze data to identify financial reporting errors, fraud, and operational business risks.
6. Prepare the final audit report, including highlighting issues and problems, and making recommendations for improvements to systems and processes.
Job Specifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. MBA is a plus.
2. Anyone can apply with 3 years’ experience in auditing.
3. Commercial insight:?to understand the client’s needs, business, and the markets in which they operate.
4. Critical thinking:?to carefully review audit evidence and make sound judgments and recommendations.
5. Problem-solving:?to manage unexpected issues and find resolutions within the audit process.
6. Taxation and legislation:?to ensure the company is adhering to all applicable taxation laws and legislation.
