SAGU AIC is a distinctly Christian private liberal arts college located in Phoenix, Arizona. SAGU AIC is affiliated with the Assemblies of God fellowship. A successful candidate will be able to integrate and articulate their Christian faith into all aspects of the coaching position.

The Head Coach of Women’s Basketball is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects related to the operations of the SAGU AIC Women’s Basketball Program. A successful candidate will be a dynamic regional recruiter, evaluator of talent, teacher of the game, and fundraiser. 

The Head Coach of Women’s Basketball will be responsible for all phases of coaching a NCCAA Division 1 sport including: recruiting, budget management, hiring and supervising assistant coaches, interaction with campus and community groups, and a working knowledge of all rules and regulations pertaining to the operation of a NCCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball Program. 

Additional duties include program management, fundraising, planning and scheduling practices, games, scouting, transportation, meals, and public relations. 

The candidate must have strong team building/management skills; ability to work across academic & administrative departments in a cooperative manner; strong written & verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate collaborative efforts; demonstrated experience in program development, management, & leadership; ability to interact with members of the public & media; ability to supervise regular and temporary staff; command of a comprehensive operating and scholarship budget, and understanding of the student-athletes’ commitment to academics and faith. 

Additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
