JOB SUMMARY: As part of the Enterprise Applications team, provide analysis support and recommend efficient solutions for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Work with departments to build and test process workflows.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recommend efficient solutions that meet user needs by analyzing and testing system functionality and capabilities of vendor delivered solutions.
  • Lead reviews and testing of software functionality from updates or new implementations.
  • Assists in the evaluation and optimization of software utilization as it relates to inter- and intra-departmental workflows.
  • Design and build reports in the ERP software system.
  • Provide user documentation and train users by demonstrating technical functionality.
  • Develop a working knowledge of and provide support for assigned software modules and applications.
  • Set up of data integrations for the ERP and related systems.
  • Provide time estimates for projects when requested.
  • Perform research, schedule personal training or attend conferences to keep abreast of enterprise applications developments.
  • Assist with the training of new Information Technology Services staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Supervision is received from the Director of Information Technology Services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Good problem-solving skills, analytical ability, organization skills, written and oral communication skills.
  • Good project planning skills.
  • Ability to train groups/individuals and to demonstrate technical functionality to groups/individuals.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to positively interact with a diverse campus community.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in computer related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Duties are generally performed inside and not exposed to adverse conditions.
